The University College of Management Studies (formerly known as Institute of Management Studies - IMS) was granted its first Accreditation in 1998 by the National Accreditation Board to offer tutorial programmes leading to UK Professional Qualifications such as ACCA, ACMA, CA (Gh), MCIM, and MCIPS.

The second Accreditation was granted in 2006, enabling the University College to offer the following Undergraduate Programmes: B.Sc. Accounting, B.Sc. Banking and Finance, B.Sc. Human Resource Management, B.Sc. Marketing, B.Sc. Procurement and Supply Chain Management.

We are affiliated to the University of Education Winneba (UEW), Winneba and Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Kumasi.

UCOMS is also accredited with ACCA-UK, CIM-UK and CIPS-UK.
