Proud winner of the 2019 FORD innovation mobility challenge
In 2019, Ford Motor Company Fund introduced a special, one time, Ford Mobility Innovation Challenge. Only five Enactus teams across the globe had the chance to travel to the Enactus World Cup and present their mobility-related social enterprise to Ford executives. UCOMS emerged as the PROUD WINNER of the 2019 Global FORD Innovation Mobility Challenge in San Jose, USA. The team received a grant funding of USD $30,000.00 to enable them scale up and go further with the innovative motor tricycle ambulance that runs on fuel and solar. The results-driven project addresses affordable, clean transportation mobility issues and fast access to health care in 15 communities in the Northern region of Ghana.

B.Sc BANKING AND FINANCE
"Having identified that the institution has a high profile in business studies, I made it my obvious choice given my interest in finance. The courses cover a wide spectrum which enables students to be very certain on what programme to major in. Lecturers enlighten us not only theoretically but also practically on what is happening in the corporate world and what you need to survive in your chosen field of study. There are various clubs and societies on campus which has really helped me in building my confidence and urged me on to strive for excellence".
